Joystick Generation
I have a regular, grown-up day job as well as a side job, both of which are neither to do with video games. Video games are purely a passion and favourite leisure activity (well, second favourite since going to the pub became legal) since the mid-to-late 1980's. Yes, I'm old by Tumblr standards.
My video game experience started with the ZX Spectrum or the Atari 2600 (I can't remember which came first, but hence the 'joystick' in the title) and spanned every generation until the current day (360 owner, but no 'fanboy' bias here).
Expect videos, rants, raves, recommendations, opinions and my failings as a gamer.

To be honest, I couldn’t have cared less about the Tomb Raider reboot previously, but after seeing the trailer (8 months after it was first released), consider me 100% sold.
The visuals…holy mother of God. Yes, it’s a pre-render. But oh so pretty nonetheless.

I’m playing through Mass Effect 2 one last time, in it’s entirety, including all add-ons (Overlord, Lair Of The Shadow Broker etc), before Mass Effect 3 is released in Europe on March 9th.

Ubisoft has revealed the latest trailer for their post-apocalyptic themed survival game, I Am Alive.
This looks like it could be worth the 1,200 MS points.
